PALMS was born from firsthand experience helping to build and scale a startup (R.E.D.D.). We worked with countless agencies, freelancers, and contractors — and too often ended up with missed deadlines, inflated prices, and work that didn’t reflect the heart of our brand.
It felt like we were spending more time managing vendors than running our business. And when we did take it into our own hands? The work was better — but we had no time left to grow.

Reed Allen is a brand strategist, creative director, and lifelong entrepreneur. Before founding PALMS, he helped start and scale R.E.D.D. Bar—where he was the Operations Director. He started PALMS to offer other founders the kind of creative partnership he always wished he had: nimble, strategic, and deeply collaborative. Outside of work, Reed is a skateboarder, competitive gamer, and vintage camera messer-arounder who’s happiest spending time with his wife and kids in their cozy Maine home.

Corey McKenna is a multidisciplinary creative with a sharp eye for e-commerce strategy and brand storytelling. With a background in photography, video production, and digital marketing, he’s helped countless brands grow their online presence through standout visuals and smart campaigns. Corey brings an intuitive sense of what sells—and what sticks. When he’s not behind the camera or building out a new site, he’s likely experimenting in the kitchen or capturing everyday life through his lens.
